I keep hearing bad things about the traffic, is it terrible at rush hour or all day long?
My memory of the traffic is that the main problem is the swath of 285 between 75 and 85 around rush hour. That bit of the city just turns into a parking lot for an hour. 400, in the middle, is the worst, including for many miles north of 285.
Other than that, it wasn't so bad.
Note all the past tense. My information is 5 years old.
MJQ- a literally underground club that plays House on Sat. (hipster rock in the side room) Hipster rock on Wed. (no cover) and hip hop in sideroom, Hiphop in both rooms on Fri. Very cheap drinks: $2 pbr $3 imports. I see gals in there that have to be 15 all the time.
Fellini's: pizza joint scattered all over Atl. gooood cheap pizza by the slice.
Strip clubs: full frontal people! and alchohol! they are all over the place.
Just rush hour. Leave early for work, if you work downtown. See in ATL we have two groups of people, ITP and OTP. Inside the perimeter and outside the perimeter. The perimeter is 285. 285 is the worst highway of them all. Stay away from 285 during typical business hours.
OTP is the burbs. We make traffic suck for everyone. ITP people try to pretend they are in a city with dependable public transportation. ITP people are usually late.
Just messing around for the most part. ATL is a great place to live.

surely you jest. my ITP, Marta bus riding ass is always on time and my driving from OTP co-workers are always late because of traffic.
