who's an artist here?

are you an artist too? what do you do?

the more people i talk to here and read their member pages, i'm most likely to discover they are of the creative variety. i guess the creative types like the suicide girl types.

Ive noticed alot of Members and Suicide Girls are artists also, I dont consider myself a artist but i have a little art gallery that shows lowbrow style art.

I do not have a website.. I only doodle and draw cartoons. Actually thats where my name came from. I drew myself as a cartoon, Tane.

Right now Tane is confused about who and what he is. You see he was actually killed 30 years ago by 5 individuals Emperor Rygon, Lord Caiotae, Tao, Kartasia, and Tanes evil clone. But then again before he died he killed all of them.

But they cloned Tane and brought him back, but he has no memory of his past. But I plan on making a microchip which can be inplanted into the brain with Tane's memories on it. So all is not lost.. The universe will once again be inslaved by the tyrannical dictator and he will exectuing and destrying again...

I think we all are here. maybe some claim to be just to get in on the discussion. I make music, draw, paint etc. and get paid to make art for video games.
being an artist is the greatest thing ever.

I'd imagine we're mostly creative types here. I've run an alternative theatre company for too many years -- lots of acclaim, not enough money. Also have dabbled in most known artforms and a few without proper designations. Art heals, art unites, art is like good bread, hooray!

I'm a freelance illustrator and concept artist for game companies. No website, but I'm currently working on it.

Looks like a cool company. Those caricatures are sweet. I like the idea of rewarding great ideas. That's pretty much a rarity in the game industry.

Man alive there’s a lot of talented people here. I was going down the board and checking out everyone’s stuff. I like to do digital art myself and hand drawing. I don’t have a huge gallery like some of you but I’m just proud that I have some stuff up. Enjoy!

Amazing, Fucking amazing.

I feel so old fashioned. I paint. Oil paint and acrylics. I paint on canvas and I love to paint on furniture, nothing too exciting. A while ago I also made jewelry, but that got too expensive, I am really interested in digital photography though, I think I will explore that medium next.

By the way, I have looked at everyones links, and I must say that you guys are all extremely talented.

I used to focus on painting and was thinking of getting into it again. Maybe I'll pull out the old paints eventually. If I didn't procrastinate so much I could probably work it in between photo projects, but I don't see that happening right away.

Great to see all the artistic type people around. I know there are more of you out there, so speak up.

ish -- i do illustration, design, music and ... well. that's it. the design pays the bills, the music keeps me relatively sane and the illustration keeps me happy.

it still amuses me when i go to my mom's house and find my old, beat up copy of 'my book about me.' remember that? remember where you write in what you wanna be when you grow up?

i'm an artist. collages, paintings, mixed media...if you including writing as art i do that too.

I love painting, but I need to do it more. I also do some design and illustration stuff. You can see some of my junk HERE... I play bass & slide guitar too (thought not really all that well)- been in loads of bands since I was 16.

Funny thing is, I always feel weird about calling myself an artist or a musician. Dunno why, just don't like to.
