Not currently, though my Gran still lives in Coventry and I went to Uni in the west midlands, lived in Walsall, had lectures in Dudley and Wolverhampton and shopped in Birmingham.

There are a bunch of Midlanders here, who meet up sometimes through the SGUK group. The meetings I have been to are in Cheltenham and they have been very friendly.

i live in newark. nice to see a midlands presence here.

I'm moving to Birmingham on the 18th, and as of yet only know one person in the area.

man i love that hill. winter is the best when people go falling down it. at least it has a halfway point for rest.

I'm a Mancunian exile in Leicester thinking about jumping ship up to Nottingham in the next few days/weeks/months - whichever is easiest....

I think you'd like it a lot more in Nottingham, I used to go there for nights out years ago and it was great.

Aye. Been here for 11 years now....started going out in Nott recently and realise its more my scene with the music...and other things.

if anyone lives in stoke on trent have they heard of unity house? it was suppose to be being blown up but now there doing it brick by brick how boring is that

I'm a current resident of Leicester too although I'm from a lil town outside of Bham

Lived in Solihull for 5 years. All good things must come to an end and I had to move back to the States about 18 months ago. I miss your island and at least a portion of its inhabitants.

I'm stuck in northampton at the moment. I reckon thats south, but people tell me it's the "midlands" ... bugger @ that.

Hi I'm from East Anglia. Nowwhere near the Midlands but I hope to visit it someday I hear your beer is very cheap. It's about £2.50 for a pint here.
