What would you guys say is the quintessential Boston Breakfast place?

For once I want to wake up early and get something somewhere good. Any suggestions?

I love Mike's City Diner on Washington St. They serve breakfast all day, and it's fabulous.

Yea, Boston can be terribly weak

Since when?

Dude, he lives in Swampscott, of course Boston is lame to him! I mean, look at how hopping Swampscott is! We should all fucking live there! tongue

I'd make a Swampscott crack, but I'm not exactly in a position to talk. tongue

I hear the Model is quite nice.

have you been there?

I was there last weekend... with MissTyrios, ThePassenger, ClaudiaJean, Blondie, boundcreature, gmacoustic... AND MORE.

I liked it. I thought it was a proper dive.

Yes, very much the proper dive bar. Nice place to go hang out with people from the local rock scene

Where is it? Ive never been...

Union Square in Allston. It's where Cambridge St, Washington St, Brighton Ave, and N Beacon all come together. Say hi to me if you decide to go. Chances are I'll be there.

Hmm, those comments are pretty old. Is this place still around and worth going to? I'm moving close-ish to Union soon (walking distance to Union, Inman, Harvard, long-ish walk to Central), and will be looking for things to do... not really limited to walking distance, but it helps being in walking distance when you realize you're still out and the trains have stopped.

I am going to have to try out a couple of those diners though. Still looking for a proper diner. And don't say S&S.
