I've only been to Detroit and Royal Oak, but I rather like Michigan. I would gladly take it over Ohio, but my ultimate goal is to move away from the cold winters/cursed snow.

Techically, Vernors is a ginger soda, but who is keeping score? If I ever move out of Michigan, my family has vowed to ship Vernors and Faygo Rock and Rye to me by tthe busload. Now for a good ginger ale, it's all about Canda Dry....

The fact that Michigan sucks so bad is all part of its charm. I curse this forsaken state each and every morning I wake up, but then again I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. Michigan (and Metro Detroit specifically) may lack the weather, the culture, or coolness factor of other places - but it does well enough to get by.
