it's because practically everyone is friends with tom. i found it too difficult to make friends on friendster for the opposite reason. i don't know, i'm kinda just a loser.
justsayfaux is the one that made me join friendster, and the same thing is going on there as on myspace. blasted social butterfiles.
a friend of mine made a very clever profile on myspace (oog) he's got a ton of friends. i guess you've just got to be entertaining/hott/or always online. i personally am none of those things.
