Anyone even remotely near Alberta???

Canada sucks. Any members living in Alberta? Calgary, Edmonton, etc? More than likely there are hardly any up here, but if there is lemme know!

Like Toreena says, most of the Canadian SG membership is in the Toronto area. I'm deep in the wildes of Ontario, but close enough to TO to go there for shows and such. It gets a little lonely sometimes when you hear of those SGers getting together every weekend, sure. But you have to accept it and move on. (or move, I guess, but a little drastic.)

Buy some stickers and plaster them around the cool spots in your town. Maybe you can attract some new local members, people you might not have met otherwise.

I'm trying it here, but I have yet to find a cool spot in my town.

Yeah, I should probably just get on that. I know of a few sweet places here in town (as rare as they are), so it'd probably be worth it

I am not especially close to Calgary or Edmonton, but I am closwer than Toronto. *chuckle* I am usually in Vancouver, but at the moment I am in a little town almost in Alberta.

Does it count that I've at least *been* to Calgary a couple times? Actually passed through on my way to Lake Louise, where many a Kokanee was consumed....

I'm in Edmonton most of the year going to school. Up in Fort McMurray (oh god...) for the summer to work though.

I'm an Edmontonian as well. We should start an SG-Edmonton/Red Deer/Calgary group. SG-Canada West has too many BC'ers to plan adequate parties for all to attend.

the view sucks here in 70% of alberta but the other 30 is awesome.Oh and we are the richest with the lowest unemployment.No debt for us.
