i live here and i can tell you first hand it sucks.

Every time I go there by car I have to pay to get back into the land of my birth (unless I go the long way via Monmouth, obviously...). That sucks.

I hate the place! and they say you are meant to be proud to be english.... im ashamed! they go abroad and get drunk and start fights and that is how europe etc see english people! just look at the goings on over Euro 2004! so i have the place!

Me mum's from Bournemouth and all the family on her side lives there...so I kinda of a soft spot for all things Britannia. It's been far too long since I last went over to visit. And if I did, it sounds like there's plenty of equally surly people there who could sling a few pints with me and bitch about our respective countries.
