I think that's pretty much where I am right now, too. I like my life....just really bored with the single part. NOT that I want to jump into a big, serious relationship.....but I'm getting awfully bored of doing everything by myself.

I'm just getting awfully bored of doing everything by myself.

Plus 2 for something I started.
I don't want a serious relationship.
I am awfully bored of doing everything myself ... including myself
Being single, much like being in a relationship, has it's own perks and downfalls. I don't think it really matters whether you're single or not, but if you don't embrace the perks and focus solely on the negative then the grass will always be greener on the other side and you'll likely find yourself miserable either way.

Single life is like flying a kite, you think it's going to be great fun but then realise it is really rather dismal. At least that is my impression of kite flying.
Single life have their advantages like you can do what ever you want, but most of time i am bored.
I am looking for relationship not for temporary relations with girls who wants some satisfaction...

At this point, I'd take some temporary satisfaction just to not feel like a hideous CHUD.
I like being single, but I miss certain moments of relationship life.
I miss going to the movies with a girl, or going to a show with a girl.
I have realized though the next time I date someone, we have to have WAY more in common than the last couple of girls I dated. Opposites may attract, but they sure as fuck don't stay together. At least in my experience.
Wouldn't be dateless if I said "Yes" to the three 20 something y.o. that have asked me out.
I could wear a blindfold during the date ... and pretend their 40
oh the single life. i wouldn't have such a problem with it if i were at least going on dates. but i live amongst cowboys. alas....i don't like cowboys and they don't like me.

No longer am I required to talk on the phone with someone for an extended period of time about what I did during the day. No longer do I have to give an explanation when I spend time with a friend who doesn't have a penis. No longer do I have to opt-out of plans with male friends because the GF decides it's a great night to "cuddle" and watch a series of inane shows on the fucking WB.
You aren't required to do those things in most relationships, only the ones where you're totally pussy whipped.
I'm Single...far from the Emo click however I'm far from normal i'm told :3
And I've come to a conclusion that I need to expand out from my immediate area to find girls who are actually more open minded..but w/e...sides I'm actually not wanting a committed relationship right now just a overly friendly friend but hey if things work out who knows right?
