SPOILERS! (Click to view)

This forum should be reserved for specified local/hook-up. For example; if something is actually happening in your area that you think the Suicide Girls community might be interested (like a concert, party, movie premiere, bar opening, club night) you could post about that.

Unfortunately, blind population polling just results in useless replies that go nowhere and just clutter the forum.

By clicking the MEMBERS link at the top of the page you can find all kinds of members near you.

You can also search REGIONAL GROUPS to find groups that focus people, places and events in your area.

Lastly, you can type locations into the QUICK SEARCH box at the top, right hand corner of this page to look for pre-existing threads about your area... odds are it's already out there.

Thanks!

Source, that sticky "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" thread.

You're new here, so join some groups and make some friends on the site before trying to hang out with them. We think everyone is going to chop our bodies up with wood chippers until they prove us otherwise. So prove us wrong and interact, write a blog, make some friends, then we might be less inclined to believe you'll kill us if we hung out with you.

Here are some tips and suggestions on how to interact with other SG members in your area:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
- You can search for SG members in your area. Click on Members at the top of the page. Near the top of the Members page is a search function. (In the U.S. and Canada: Where it says "Within [blank] miles of [blank]", fill in a number of miles, and a U.S. zip code or Canadian postal code. In other countries: Use the "Country" drop-down list.) See who comes up in the member search, and then start talking to them by posting a comment on their latest blog.

- Find your regional group. Click on Groups at the top of the page, then use Search By Location. Most regional groups are private groups, so you have to apply to join.

Because [regional group] events are sometimes held at member's houses or places of work and because SG models sometimes are in attendance, these groups are much harder to gain acceptance to. Don't be discouraged if you are initially declined -- it's just because no one knows who you are.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when applying to regional groups:

1. Have a profile pic of yourself.
2. Have some journal entries so people can learn a lil about you.
3. Post in people's journals in your area

Also, if you personally know someone already in a regional group, have them introduce you. A recommendation from a pre-existing member goes a long way!

- If you've been a member of SG for less than two months, you're automatically a member of the SG Newbies group. That's a good place to meet other new members, and to ask questions about SG.

- Don't forget to check out the other, non-regional groups, and join the ones that interest you the most. It's a good way to find other members who like some of the same things that you do.

- Check back here on the Hook-Up board from time to time, to find scheduled public events that are open to all SG members.
