The best thing about New Jersey....is not having to live near the people who like to pretend they're New Yorkers.
Wrong. Pretending you live in New York when you actually live in Jersey is the best part of living in Jersey. Hudson County is the 6th borough of NYC. No, I take that back. Hudson County is the 5th borough. (Staten Island?? Are you kidding me?)
However, I'm going to disagree with minimalism above. It's a mistake to drive through the Holland Tunnel. It's a mistake to drive anywhere in Jersey. PATH train FTW.
no disrespect to anyone who likes jersey, but i hate it. i can't wait to move!!! i want consistent warm weather, palm trees, and maybe a view of the desert. i want outttttttt

When you are from North Jersey and you're on vacation in some foreign country how cool is it to answer where you're from with, "Me? I'm from New Jersey."
And be replied with, "Oh really, where is that?"
I think if you are less than fifteen minutes away from a city like New York it's pretty fair to say New York.

i like when people see my New Jersey tattoo (not hard, its on my wrist) and then show me theres, or tell me about all their friends that have them.
i personally know three other people that have one, not including my sister

I was thinking of getting one but I just seen so many of them I decided against it, maybe if I ever move out of state I will
Being originally from Florida I must say I like NJ. Yes it's a lot colder and there is that whole snow thing, but you can be in the "city"(NYC or Philly) the "shore" (I still call it the beach) the mountains, or the country in a matter of minutes.
I miss the certain things but all in all I like it here.
So I haven't been back to Jersey in a long time due to work schedule. But I've managed to get time off to go later on this month. Anyone know about anything going on in Jersey this time of year?

Oh, I need the change of seasons. After 7 months in South Florida I was missing Jersey so much.
