i am Heading back to city of sin may 18-21 ( i say returning cause this is my first trip since gettin out of a relationship) and I am looking for shit to do and see from my new single perspective. bringing my tax return (BIG) so money or a prudish girlfriend is not an issue this time.
There is a sweet little Italian bakery about a mile west of the UNLV campus, on the same block as a Walgreens and a Burlington Coat Factory. They have good cookies.

Go-Karts. Northwest side of town. I'm totally serious; doing Go-Karts was my favorite thing to do in Vegas.

Might be east instead of west. I can't remember. I just know that UNLV is between the modern strip and the bakery. Plus, you get to drive past the Liberace museum.

While you're there, ask Liberace if he has any ideas on what to do while dead.
I highly reccommend a visit to the tank at CCDC, tres populaire with the locals! However you must arrive unfashionably early if you wish to claim the roll of TP for a pillow.

If UNLV and the Liberace Museum is between it and the strip, then it's east. The Liberace Museum is on Eastern and Tropicana, IIRC, while UNLV is on the Maryland Parkway/Tropicana intersection. The strip runs diagonally through the city, and UNLV takes up the bottom part of the triangle that forms Las Vegas Boulevard, Maryland Parkway, and Trop.

Well, somebody's got a big ol' brain on them
While I can't give an exact address, the bakery is in a strip mall at the corner of E Tropicana Ave and S Eastern Ave, in the North Easter quadrant of the intersection, adjacent to the Burlington Coat Factory.
