I have this weekend in London. Any suggestions?

This always helps me when trying to decide what to do in London.

Go to the Trocadero and buy a double decker bus full of sweets from the Sweet Centre.

Go see the Queen !

What do you like doing ? As London like every big city has such a diverse range of things todo.

Change in plans! Looks like I will be heading to Dublin for the Friday/Saturday - same question!

I always wanted to go to the London Dungeons tour/show.

Unfortunately, due to our tour schedule when we were there I wasn't able to make it.

The London Dungeons is fun, but if you ever go make sure you book in advance to avoid the queues.

Top things to do in London are the Natural History and British Museums. You won't get a better value for money anywhere else.

Buy green tea cake from the Golden Gate shop in Chinatown then find a park in which to sit and eat said cake. It's my London ritual.

Also, got to give another shout out for Camden. It's not as cool since the Lock market burnt down but there are some cool pubs and good shops about.

If the New Globe Theater is doing a showing while you're there, and you have any love of Shakespeare, you'll want to buy a bit in advance to get the groundling passes. The "better" seats are historically accurate (read: cramped) and the show frequently interacts with the groundlings. Go cheap!

There's a million gigs on every night, plus comedy and all manner of other 'shows' in London, not to mention countless pubs and clubs of all scenes. Choose something, then go there, get smashed and have a wicked time.

During the day, get something nice to eat at one of the millions of wicked food places, there's something to cater for every taste. Then go to a museum, gallery, shopping, sightseeing, whatever you bloody want! It just depends what your into! A top ten for me might be a bloody nightmare for you.

Use your interests to make a judgement on what you might enjoy...c'mon man... do we have to do all the work for you!? Sheesh.

(I personally would get some vegan grub from the 'Rootmaster' vegan bustaurant (it's a double decker bus converted), then spend a few hours wandering around the Natural History Museum, and then the British Museum, then go see a metal or punk gig in Camden (Underworld/Worlds End) or Soho (Crobar) or Holloway Rd. (The Gaff), get pissed up and then see where the night takes us... Then in the morning I'd get hangover breakfast at Inspiral cafe on Camden high street. But that's just me.)

Oops! Just saw you're now heading to Dublin! Well, most of that still probably applies.

The Cross Keys in Chiswick, its a local with awesome food, and you never know, you might meet of the Bonds there! Miss you London!

I got me a London Pass and it was way useful. Also, if you go to Buckingham Palace stay near the park and away from the central grill... Also the London Eye is awesome especially if you go in the later hours when most people are gone. You get to see the city light up.
