Friday night is not a good night to indoctrinate oneself to the boards.

What I would really like is to have a girl to talk with on the phone during the week. I can keep busy on weekends but during the week from when I get home from work until I go to bed I tend to get bored. I am a very good listener and love to chat. I know this makes me sound like a chick but I really don't care, it is who I am and I own it. The reason I want to talk with girls not guys is I found I like being friends with girls much more then guys, it has nothing to do with trying to hook up with a girl. Two private groups that might interest you are SGMC and SGBoston. With the private groups, you usually have to have already been somewhat active on the site for a few months before they'll let you join, so they might not let you in yet. You can send PMs to the group owners and ask them about that.

I noticed that a few of the regional groups are public groups, including SGMidwest and SG Central Coast. Is there a way to get a list of all the regional groups that are public? I'm thinking that those would be of particular interest to new members.
