Hell, California has a larger population than Canada. You could literally throw a stick and meet someone.

I usually carry a bigger stick, just in case. Especially in the East Bay.
Like, in Piedmont? Do you worry about someone punching you when you're in Piedmont?
I worry about getting caught in a drive-by whenever I'm in Walnut Creek.
