Portland (SGPDX) Public Events

You're the at home wife, atomicant is the on the road wife.

I've been eyeing those crush events but I guess I don't have the balls to just show up and talk to a bunch of people I don't know. I'm socially awkward like that, but it does sound interesting. I'm a PDX new guy with nothing to do with my spare time.

All you really have to do is show up, eat, pay, and leave a good tip. We'll talk plenty enough for you.

Also, keep your hands away from Randys' mouth-hole.

I'm heading down to Portland in the last weekend of February to see the Mountain Goats at Doug Fir.

Anyone up for hanging out/dinner/drinking on Saturday the 23rd, or anytime on Monday (including the show)?

The current plan is to rent a car, driving down on Saturday morning, and then driving back to Seattle on Tuesday afternoon. If anyone needs something/someone brought to/from Seattle, I don't mind helping out.

so there seems to be a decent amount of interest in this upcoming brunch, and in response here are a few tips:

1) we're in the back. it's called the 'sin room', and that's so us annoying smokers can smoke. fuck off.

2) BRING CASH! you have been warned. it's mildly annoying for both us and them when they have to run 43 different credit cards.

3) be on time. seriously. it's at 11. everyone can get there by then.

4) BRING CASH. i mean it. your present and future membership in sgpdx could suffer.
