Portland (SGPDX) Public Events

So there are no more open events and therefore the group is no longer accepting new members??? I mean, my logic follows right? If the group rules say that to be admitted you MUST attend an open event and there are no longer any open events, theeeeeeeen...

That's a question best asked of the owner.

i've said it before, but i'd go to a nighttime event over a brunchtime event. not like i'm going to propose anything though.

no, we will be having open events soon, it's just been very slow and i've been traveling quite a bit over the past two months. i'm looking to set something up in the evening later this month.

Any SGPDX members ever party in Vancouver?....Because if you do, you should stop by Sharis restaurant on Chklov in the middle of the night (Where I work) and just vouch me into the group. That would make this alot easier on me (to join). I'd be happy to buy you a beer or coffee or whatever. (I'm never there on Saturadays tho')

Howdy SGPDX - Any word on a new time & place to meet 'n' greet. I've been in Portland about a year--and on the site a little longer than that--and was hoping, in the new year, to do some face-to-facing & join the group...

so you say there will be open brunches the first sunday of every month? that would be tomorrow. but this hasn't been updated in awhile. hmmm

There's a roller girl event on the 20th. That might be a fun meet-up. Anyone else want to go? Maybe to a bar after that?

yeah, for real. there will be other brunches. if missing a meetup with a bunch of strangers from the internet bums you out that much, perhaps you should re-evaluate things...

well, the food was ok at radio room, but if any of you non-SGPDX member folks have ideas, i'm open to suggestions. we might just do the sapphire next month, simply because they have $10 bottomless mimosas. they're not great, but i can make my breakfast pay for itself.

also, it's pretty close to my house.

brunch will NOT be the first sunday of this month, seeing as it's easter. and my sister is putting one on. and it will be way better than anywhere we could go. i'll probably post one for the second or third sunday of the month.
