I'm going to be at a conference for my work next month, in a Dinsey World hotel ... wheeee. I don't expect I'll get a half-hour to myself the whole time I'm there, but just in case I get a chance to step out, any recommendations for things to do, sights to see, stuff to avoid, etc?
Depends on if you will be by yourself or not. If you go with family or wife in tow (i didnt look to see if you had these)then I guess you will have too do the Disney thing. I wouldnt though - its over rated. You will spend all day out under the hot ass sun baking and will be to tired to go out at night and wont even have much fun, Those parks are kind of just for kids I think most adults find them boring.If you are by yourself and want to do something near by you can go to Pleasure Island(its Disney but for adults that like to drink - kinda cool) and try to hook up with a chick from Europe or Asia - they are all over that place. Downtown Orlando has a pretty good SG type girl scene on Sunday nights at Club Cairo or Indepedand Bar. Downtown is busy on Frday ans Sat nights too, just not that much in the was of girls you would see here at SG - mostly preppy type girls. If you have to do one I would go downtown.
