Anyone know of any cheap places to live for poor musicians? Basements are good. Cheap is essential.

Have you ever heard a song by Audra, "You're so Pretty"?

The Chorus is: "I could use a girl like you, I could use a girl like you...In my basement."

You just reminded me of it with your post.

Good luck with your hunt wink

Portland is all about that stuff if you're "local enough."

If not, forget it.

They can be found, but a cheaper alternative is living in the Beaverton/Hilsboro area and commuting to Ptown. You get the cheap living and you are still close to where you wanna be. As far as cheap living in-city, look in the shitty parts of the town...they're there. If you aren't picky you can find them, but rich art students have taken a lot of the nice re-done, used-to be cheap lofts.

I've lived here 10 years, so I do know the basics. I'm just wondering if anyone had any info on people who had spare spaces b/c the more options the better...thanks
