What's the best Strip Club in Portland?!?

So I keep reading SG posts about strippers in PDX...you seem like quite the experts on the subject. I also hear that P-town has some of the best strip clubs around if I want a more down to earth experience and not drunk GI's throwing money at Barbie Dolls.

So let's have it- what's the best Strip Club in Portland? Someone mentioned the Dolphin II...any others?

Well, I am a bit partial to Stars Cabaret out in Beaverton. They actually call me "Harry Potter" each time I go there.

I also do like Exotica, and have yet to go to Acropolis.

She dances right? and Erin too? I can't remember but if I just start naming names I'll end up looking like a fool/ass. Pole-dancing, done right is amazing, I'd watch even if the clothes never came off. Hell, I'd pay for SG if the clothes never came off too.

The Acrop kicks ass. If you go anywhere, go there. I spent a large portion of my 21st there.

exotica hands down. the girls even dance in cages in addition to the 3 stages. it's sorta classy too. i think the worst is the viewpoint. dancing bare can be pretty gross too. mary's is really small. i haven't been to STAR's cabaret, but my dad's old tenant works there and although she's nice it would weird me out to see her. i wanna know where the sg's dance. TELL ME i have a friend who has a crush on erin, does she dance?

I find strip clubs pretty boring, but the Acropolis is great because you can actually sit there and eat a giant steak right in front of a naked girl.

Thanks to this post I will be visiting the acropolis...I like greek food...Stars does serve food & I know a few of the strippers there so it's cool..I actually went the other night and their were close to 15-20 strippers...got a free dance...& watched the game with my friend Carmen(da stripper). They all seemed high quality and the place was packed around 8 or 9...This was a wednesday night...Been to the Dolphin 2 and wasn't that impressed but I will give it another look since some swear by it...

I don't think the acrop has greek food, but they do have 4 dollar steaks and i met a suicidegirl there once.

Mary's is nice, the first time i went there i saw a girl strip to the Dead Kennedy's "kill the poor," that made me happy.

I've been to so many and it seems like none of them no how to dance very well. They are sexy as hell but have no rhythm or if the have rythym they are lacking in the other department. If I had to pick one it would be Mary's downtown.

Well, hell, looks like we need to have an SG night at the Acrop. Who's up for that?

Stars is cool, the have famous porn stars perform there every month (I don't know how many of them I have met.) They are also a steakhouse, and a cigar bar, plus I have never walked out of there with so much free Stars Swag after two lap dances, it's unreal (so far I've gotten 2 t-shirts, a sweatshirt, boxers, a hat, and now a temp VIP pass)

Fuck Beaverton! MARY'S IS Portland! It's dirty, dark, sexy and mean. The ladies are loud and in charge. Punk Rock, mother-fucker! Plus, there's good Mexican food through the back door!

Hye, I was wondering. I used to know a dancer named "Sin" who used to dance at the Acrop, Union Jacks, and the Viewpoint. Is she still around or has she fallen off the face of the earth again?

Mary's is also cool because it's right near Dante's.

... itried to stay away from this one .but yeah...my vote's gotta be for Mary's..the ladies don't take shit from NO ONE there...Union Jack's was cool when they did the band/stripper thing..do they still do that ?...My first was the JUG up on Sandy....where I first realized why Oregon is called the Beaver state....nyuk nyuk nyuk...

Gotta give it up for Mary's. Small, smoky and cramped, yes. But great people working there and hanging out there. And its as old a strip club as you get in Portland (my mother worked there in the early 70's for christ sakes )

Dancers there get to choose their own music and there isn't an annoying dj talking up the crowd all the time. Last time I was there, a dancer pulled out a set involving the Muppets Menomanah song and the Lounge Against the Machine version of Keep'em Seperated.

That kicks ass.
