things to do in portland when you're dead

i'm going to portland in two days. to visit some of my friends who are portland transplants.

i've been in portland a few times. i pretty much know how to get around and whatnot. i know of a couple of places i *must* visit while i'm there.

i'll be at dots in southeast as much as i possibly can. the secret garden. i'll be there. one of my friends who just moved away from portland calls the secret garden the 'david lynch strip bar'. couldn't be more accurate. i forget the address of the secret garden. any help?

any decent goth/industrial clubs going on between july 20th and july 24/25? any decent sadbastardmusic bands playing? any bars we have to visit? curious. it'll be my first portland outing for a little over a year. i want to make the most of it. shrug.

if anyone wants to meet up for a bullshit session or such, let me know.

Other fun spots - Chez Whatever, The Matador, Jockey Club, My Father's Place. Don't really know any other strip joints all that well. You can eat a big cheap really good steak and look at a naked lady at the Acropolis. Mary's is interesting, but they only have beer and wine.
