Hey all,

I'm Going to New York on thursday for the first time ever, can anyone recommend some good bars and clubs to go to? I'm staying in Manhatten on 34th st. & want to avoid the (other) tourists!

I'm into Ska, reggae and punk, and some rock and metal, anything but dance basically! any good places for that would be much appreciated!
