All I'm gonna say is Orangevale. Taco Tree. It's an excellent substitute for friends.

Why is everything between(ish) Sacramento and San Francisco have tree tacked onto the end of it? Taco Tree, Nut Tree, The GapTree, JackInTheBoxTree?

Yeah it is as cool. Seriously though it's just a little mini-chain of taco stands in Sacramentos and Auburn. It's Del Taco cheap, but is super delicious. God I miss that place.

Oh yeah I remember that place too. The one in Auburn sold beer too, which is kind of unusual for a fast food place. I really miss In-n-Out too. God do I.

Sorry to continue to take this thread in the wrong direction...but the best food in Sacto is Texas BBQ near Otis/Florin. I've been to most BBQ Meccas in the U.S. and this place is the best. This place turns vegans back to Jesus.

A guy named J.R. owns the place...maybe he'll hang out with you...unless you mess with Texas...then probably not.

*Bars with friendly/odd people The Zebra, Old Ironsides, The Pine Cove (free popcorn!) and Old Towne Tavern (all downtownish).
