Tagging Sets

it's just a new feature that people feel like trying - and in turn, abusing. of course, there'll still be those who will never learn, and continue to use it for all the wrong reasons.

It has been my experience that most of the people on the internet are illiterate. They must be navigating sites by color recognition or something.

HOTT
SO
ARE
YOU

Just wait until some desides to tag all his favorite sets "Dudes favorite set" or some shit. That will make my brain melt, but you know it's going to happen. In fact probably now that I've said that someone will do it... someone... do... it.

well, i hope that given some time and maybe a better review policy here and there, it will become worthwhile and interesting.

in the meantime, i await the further recipients of the "panty-rivetbelt-ass", "readhead" and "fetchingly undernourished" tags.

yeah, the idiocy can be annoying. but it's also true that if there are good tags there, you can still find sets by searching with non-idiotic tags. it's not like the tag pollution interferes with the search functionality all that much (imho).

They should apply the 9 month rule to tagging as well

They need to post a link to the guidelines section about being respectful in the tags instructions and make the same rules apply.

The 9-month rule is also a good idea.

when I first saw that feature I thought it wouldn't be that much of a good idea to let people comment as there are way too many idiots out there.
