Seriously, I like finding all of the cool new little features hidden here and there, and saying, ooooh!, ahhhhh!

BUT, it does hurt the eyeballs more than a little. I find it odd that such soothing colors can give me such a headache, and I think it's the lack of alternating colors in posts. The two shades of grey were very helpful, and I think another color to alternate to every other post would be, well, badass.

Also, although I lov finding new stuff, some of it takes too long to get to. Sometimes I really just want to get to sometone's journaland leave them a comment without clicking multiple links to get a comment bubble.

Plus I hate the word "Blog".

Other than that, I sure as hell wish I could program this well. For serious. And the way the SG logo goes on like a sticker has me refreshing pages when I don't need to, because I am easily amused.

i just really, really wish they'll change the editing time. do away with it.

i hate having to make a whole new journal entry instead of add to an existing one.

you are right, but i also think we should do away with the comment tracking all together and just have our journal comments on our page. no more comment tracking... it's useless. please.

I use it to decide if I'm going to flag someone. If someone's a n00b and doesn't better, I'll usually just point them to the FAQ or something. If it's a jerk who's spamming or is being a perpetual dick, I'll flag him. And it's useful to get to know a person.

I have to agree with not liking the color scheme. sorry. and I am somewhat cranky about not liking the words "blog" and "faves." (twitch)

but I'm getting used to it. I know staff put a ton of work into the new layout. I do some graphic design, and I know just how much work it is, so I give you ladies and gents a ton of credit. thanks.

What I have noticed with the new site is a delay in being notified about new comments. Is this related to the 15 minute time limit on edits? That seems to be about the length of the delay.

maybe only allowing SGs to add tags? i know it's a cool feature for members, but if it's going to be abused, then maybe it shouldn't be available...

Time limit on editing = painfully retarded. Someone please explain to me the logic behind it.

I would agree with that. I wouldn't mind giving up the privilege of tagging sets if it meant that they would be accurate and appropriate, or at least not offensive to the girls.

I also hate the editing time limit. I haven't noticed anyone who is in favor of it and can figure out why it's there in the first place. If there's some good reason for a time limit which I'm missing, someone please explain it to me.

Also, thank you staff for all of the work you've put into this. I like it a lot overall and have very few complaints compared to the amount of praise I have for it. I wish I could somehow be useful and help you guys work on it or something, but I doubt I would be much help. Anyway, if it gets frustrating reading page after page of complaints, remember that a lot of use really appreciate it.

the new layout is slick. takes some getting used to but all new things do. some of the things that really bug me are:

1. my friends tab. it just lists all the friends that i have not if they updated their journals. i know you can do it from your home page but it just lists 3 friends

2. speaking of my home page, why is the one in the row of tabs different than my home page that loads when i press the one by the comment count? nothing big, it just bugs me

3. when viewing the sets i really miss the numbers at the top. the new flash viewer is neat but takes too long sometimes (scrolling and scrolling and scrolling is not fun in long sets)

4. no new smileys? c'mon guys, i want a ninja smiley...

5. the time limit on editing comments

Sweetie, the site hasn't looked like you described it since 2002 or 2003. Get over it.

Something that would totally rock is the ability to change the served page size to one of a few pre-selected formats (such as 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, etc). I have my monitor resolution set to 1152x864 and as such there is am amazing amount of space on-screen which could be utilized. This could even be part of a site skin/color option as a lot of people seem to have problems with the pink. Here's what the Home Page looks like to me:

Yep. My resolution is 1280x1024 so it's an even bigger waste of space for me. Oh well.
