You know, I'm just glad they finally put a time-zone option on here. That's bothered the piss out of me for years, like three site-vamps ago.

Really now? I must be completely blind because I've never seen it in any of the pref's or options.. and I've looked, a lot. But I never claimed to be very bright *shrug*.

SG was always the easiest place to cyberstalk. But now it just seems like it's what you're supposed to be doing...

We weren't supposed to do that before?

But in all seriousness, Yeah, I see where you're coming from, a simple click brings up whether a person is online, their last comments and journal (well, that one was always there, but still). All we need now is the pics folder open by default and contact details and we'll be set :-)

Wait a minute, I just realized you can't see anyones comment count, or when they joined, or where they are located anymore in the forums.
I know this isn't the complaint thread, but that is a real bummer. frown

if you hover over someones user icon it tells you how long they've been here, where they're from and there are little icons for different instant messengers.

That is, in theory. In practice it generally just gives you a big white box that you can't close

Also, thats a bunch of crap. If you have to hover over every single person in the thread to get a sense of where they are, and how long they've been here, etc. Then you just wont do it.

How am I supposed to know who is from England or Australia? Or Georgia, japan, Canada, or California?
It gives you a sense of where they are coming from, a sense of community. This seems sterile and cold. Like a chat room full of pervs.

I could post something and have someone think it was really cool, and never know they lived in the same town as me. That would suck.
