Yeah pretty much. It is something very out of character for me and I just wanted to do something I can look back on when I'm 80 and say "wow, I had a lot more balls than I ever thought I would!" push me out of my typical "box" if you will. Very few people outside the site know about my SG status and I aim to keep it that way.

i have applied only because i think sgs are really beutiful
i had never heard of the site before i applied
i just heard about it thru a friend and joined up
i have done my first shoot(not for sg's)
and it was awsome i had so much fun and i hope i do get accepted

I completely agree. I've applied and been accepted into suicidegirls, but my reasons were my own and I suffered a lot from it! My parents and friends heard about it and now I'm actually far LESS cool than I was. But I did it to confirm to myself and no one else that I am beautiful and confident and I absolutely love being ME, not what others think is awesome! I only recently got out of hospital for depression and panic disorder, so this was the ultimate "I HAVE RECOVERED!" statement. But, if my shoots never get accepted, then so be it. I'm not in it to have the label "Suicide Girl". Im here to make the most of myself.

Yes, so did I. Actually, a friend put me up to it and forced me to go through the application process, but I'm glad I did. It's an experience I know I'll look back on with fondness.

But yeah, there are definitely repercussions involved. Unfortunately I happen to live in a small city where everyone knows everyone, so I've had to deal with the "Omg, I know you - you're an SG!" much more than I would like.

What also scares me is that my first thought was 'Jesus, what the hell are your parents doing while you're on here?'. God I'm getting old.
