I know several SuicideGirls. Before, after, during. I love 'em all in their own special way. And to be honest, there's quite a few I'm glad to have seen naked someplace elsewhere than in a backyard BBQ-party, drunk out of their minds, screaming all the wrong lyrics to Mindless Self Indulgence... You know who you are!

But goddamnit... It seems like (most of) all the girls that I know who are not SG's are desperately trying to be a SuicideGirl because it's the next big thing...

Sometimes people make bad choices. They make what looks like a good choice to them. It's called life. Not to be too much of a dick...but it's really none of your business what these girls do.

You could argue the same thing for getting tattoo'd and pierced. It's very kool(ish) right now but what about 5-10 years down the road? I see tattoo removal as being one of the industries to get into. Start training now.

I think that a girl might initially apply for they kick they would get out fo saying 'I'm an SG' but I think once they realised how tough it actually is they might change their mind.

The time that has past since I first applied (last August) has left me a lot of time to evaluate if this is really something I want in my life. I have come to the conclusion that it is very much something I want to do (acceptance willing) but its not so that I can run around saying 'Hey look at me I'm a Suicide Girl'. Actually I'm not sure why I want to do it, maybe it the people I've met and come ino contact with since I joined and maybe it the feeling I get that if I dont give it a go then I'll always wish I had, who knows.

And I agree the problem with the poser aspect seems to be underage girls on myspace, and they are just dreaming whoch lets face it we all did when we were kids.
