also, i can understand the notion of not being familiar with a community-based web site, but if you're intelligent enough to use the message board to ask a question (especially after you've been here for months and have over 500 comments), i think you're bright enough to use the search function, or at least a smaller group.

Why have you posted twice here, if you're "not going to bother?" Seriously, you've been here long enough to know that the same questions are going to be asked again and again. It happens on every message board on the internet. Its no big deal, they're so easy to avoid. . .and you're not going to stop them, so relax a little.

Here's what I've learned from fucking up all over the boards for a while now (though I am still such a no0b)

-The boards are like a party at an elite liberal arts college: some of the smartest, most interesting minds you'd ever want to meet along with a few crashers that are just here for the beer. Both entertaining and endearing in their own way.

-This is really a fun and, in my experience, enlightening place to be.

-Everyone makes fun of everyone so don't take it too seriously

-Privately ask a friend or fellow group member and use the search/FAQ before you come here for advice or start a new thread

-The boards are the real world. They're never going to be fair and they're never going to be as cool as they were back in whatever day. Whine about it in your journal.

-Have fun. Be silly. Sillyness gets you everywhere around here.
