also, is it just me or is the merch here becoming more and more stereotypically emo? confused

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
no offense to SG or anything, I just miss when we could have artsy merch that didn't include bloody tears and dirty-looking logos.

I for one think it would be cool to see different ways of presenting SuicideGirls.com instead of doing odd things with the logo.

That's a promo hoodie from one of the tours, made in conjunction with the company Too Far. The phrase on the bottom logo says "The Sweetest Kiss Leaves a Chest Wound" which is the catch-phrase from a book from Too Far.

There were tshirts, stickers, iPod skins, and messenger bags as well.

They were never sold in shops. I handed out a bunch of the shirts, messenger bags, iPod skins and stickers to SGLA at Christmas. smile

I gotta agree with you Tangus. Who decided that SG's were butthurt? When I think of SG I don't want to think of bathroom stalls and coke lines late at night in a run down part of town. Nah, I like to think of happy pretty things.

I'd like to see a happy pretty hoodie/clothing.

indeed. and I also think that for a guy's hoodie to be badass, it doesn't have to have skulls, crossbones, black tears, or anything else like that.

it can just look nice!

Agreed. I don't want wearing SG merch to make me look like I just listened to your depressed little brother play accoustic guitar and complain about how girls only like assholes. The bloody tears are just too much for me to handle.

It'd be rather easy to say; "hey, skilled members of SG design a new hoodie with this in mind; "Happy, pretty, bright, spunky and fun. You get 3 free ones if we pick yours."

Boom, you got yourself a winner.

I want to see lighter, brighter colors (summer IS on the way ya know?) flowers maybe.

Here's an idea, go for that 'picture book' look. You know, Sleeping Beauty and Samuri Jack. No outlines. Just the solid colors.

Whatever though right? I've got my WoW and a movie rental plan. I guess I can't complain too much, so whatever.

No dice.

Black.

Maybe, maybe grey-scale colours... And maybe some deep red, or deep blue, or something. (And no, not "Deep Blue" as in "Deep Blue Sea"... I swear to God if I hafta watch Samuel L. Jackson get eaten in half again... :madsmile

Just my personal preference. smile

i'm still lobbying for cloth patches. not like, the nice ones, but like a normal band patch.

i will gladly weear mos tof the undies in the shop, but i'm right with you guys on some of the designs being really emo/hardcore/whatevercore it is.

i like simplicity. i would KILL for a black SG halter dress. or a little miniskirt.
