rude? lol! welcome to the internet.

people are passing themselves off as all kinds of people, not just SGs.

there are also people here on SG passing themselves and someone they are not.
this is not new, or exclusive to MySpace.

Of course it isn't new, but it is still pathetic and I would still be extremely annoyed if someone hijacked my image for their own dubious purposes.

Of course it's annoying. Stirfry is just jealous because no one has posted his picture's before and pass themselves off as him.

...for instance...

I'm NOT actually Blackbeard the pirate...hard to believe, I know...

Duh, Blackbeard is Blackbeard!

He's the 959th though...958 other blackbeards have to die or resign before he gets to be THE blackbeard. tongue

Hey, he's working on it-- there used to be 1476 of them, so he's making good progress. wink

On the topic of the original post--

I'm pleasantly surprised when someone I meet from the internet is like their online persona. Noone is going to befriend this person and actually meet them so why bother getting worked up over their misrepresentation. . . . As far as I'm concerned people on myspace are fictional characters.

If I had my way "there", "they're", and "their" would never be used interchangeably.

and the keystrokes involved in forming the non-words "leik" and "gurl" would cause ones computer to explode. in which case i would be in for some bad luck for making this post confused
