From what I remember, there was a magazine ready to go, but it was unsatisfactory and never actually distributed. I think I remember some talk of there being another shot, but that was a long while ago.

really though.

i wouldn't subscribe unless there were some really clear benefits. it would take the whole "community" aspect away from the brand. it would be cold and lifeless an (pardon me) kill a bunch of trees for no real reason other than people have that "collect shit in cartons" instict.

not a fan of the SG magazine idea

If you think about it... It's just a lot of unnecessities.

SG's website is faaaaar cheaper to run than any magazine, it's also a lot more interactive, and it's really personal. Every SG gets a chance to say what she wants in her own journal, and as members it allows us to do the same...

But without a magazine, it's a pretty exclusive community. You have to pay to be a member. A magazine would get SG's name out there.

But everything you'd find in an SG magazine you can pretty much find on the website. I can see both pro's and con's with the magazine idea...

But I'd totally buy it!

(Plus you get to take SG's into the can with you! biggrin)

so you can take SG's into the can with you?

I'd buy the mag. I already have a laptop, but I can only take SGs into the can if I'm in a spot with WiFi. I want to have SG in the underground, and in the can at my local bar. is that too much to ask? tongue

The same is true of the book, but I really love being able to show people the book, carry it in my backpack, sit around and page through it. It's the same reason I'd prefer to read a book on paper than a book on my computer screen.

I would keep things the way they are. Save some trees, and keep everything available through the website. Internet is the way to go.

well good argument... it would definetly destroy the "exclusiveness" of the site...
hmmm but when they just sell it via the SG-Shop?
and Sg centerfolds would be so fukin awesome

I dunno dude. It's be a good way to expand the SG community! I love it being a little exclusive... But I'd also love to relate to more people in real life (non-internet) about SG...

Hmmmm...

But I totally forgot about centerfolds.

That's it. I'm fucking sold. I need to cover my walls with SG's!!!!!!111oneone

A print magazine in this day and age is very expensive and hard to justify when you have the internet....I would purchase it thou.
