For any SGs out there, what do you appreciate the most in a comment from some one? When I comment on a set I always try to mention a particular pic or two I like and why or something about the overall creativity of the set. I notice that a some members, particularly some who are the first to post a comment will just say something like "Hot!" or "That is really sexy!" or and to me that is like giving the SG's page a quick tag and then moving on.
I like it when people use proper spelling and punctuation.
Naming a favourite picture is good too.
What does bug me is when people say how awesome a set is when the time of their comment clearly shows they haven't even looked at it.

I wish I had time to do it! I barely have time to reply to comments on my journal
300-400 comments to reply to are very difficult all at once! however, if I notice a recentl comment on one of my older sets I always say thank you, unfortunately it's much easier after the fact when there are only one or two comments a week to reply to.
Nice to know people appreciate it even if it is a physical impossibility for me.
me too, I always check back, because I'm super flattered when someone has checked it out long after it went up and leaves a comment!

Don't you know? It's a race to see who can leave a comment first. Grand prize is like, uh, the SG gets to read your rushed and irrelevent* comment first.
*irrelevent as in since they haven't take the time to even look at the set, their comment has nothing to do with it, not as in comments are irrelevent.
