The new SuicideGirls Directory is a listing of businesses, services, bands, and anything else relevant to the SG community. Members can add listings, write reviews, and even promote a listing on their own profile page!

We envisage the directory becoming the place to go if you're visiting a new city and want to know where the really great restaurants are, who the bands are that you should see while you're in town, and the bars you should hang out at. Need recommendations for tattoo artists? Check the Directory! Just get the most smashing haircut of your entire career as a stone fox? Review your hair salon!

If you don't see your favourite places in the directory, please add them and then let us know what you think of them in your review. We won't hold it against you if you want to trash the suckiest band you've seen or the shop that sold you faulty goods and wouldn't let you return them, your review is a service to the rest of us.

Please, go forth, populate, and enjoy the new Directory. I hope it helps you keep the crap in your life to a minimum and always bask in the golden light of always getting good service and never seeing a crappy band again.

As always, we will be evolving the Directory based on the way you use it and your suggestions, so please give us feedback! Especially if things are broken, because that would really suck.

ABOUT REVIEWING (PLEASE READ!)

Please don't review a listing that you have no experience with. For instance, if you are friends with the owner of the business listed, but have never used their services, please don't review the listing! That kind of thing just makes the reviewing utterly pointless.

Don't be afraid to give less than 5 hearts, even if it's a SuicideGirl's listing that you're reviewing. Businesses and services need feedback, and as long as you're constructive you are actually doing them a favour!

In general it's a good idea to write more than "THIS ROCKS!!!" as a review. Why do you like it? What specifically stands out? Was the service excellent? Was the food riddled with rat droppings? Please be as detailed as you can!

because we're not all from the states and the rest of the english speaking world spell it the way it was originally spelled.

oh, and the extra "t" in "brittish" is unnecessary.

I was hoping someone would catch on!
I never knew how to spell favourite anyhow. My spell check stills corrects it. As of today Ive changed the language settings to English UK.

I still say color looks better then colour.
