On the front page, in the section for the latest posts in the groups I see this:

-3517 SEC SGCanada East
-3282 SEC SuicideBoys
-2609 SEC SGPhilly
-2511 SEC DATING SUCKS!!!
-2142 SEC Chemical Halo
-1915 SEC SGDC
-1679 SEC Mac Users
48 SEC SuicideGirl Sales
1 MIN Matrimony
3 MIN College Football
5 MIN Latinas
8 MIN SGVegas
9 MIN Kitties

So if I am reading this right there was a post in the Kitties group 9 minutes ago. Since a negative number is opposite of a positive number I can only assume that there will be a post in the SuicideBoys group in 54.7 minutes from now. Something's either wonky or Olivia's geniused upon the fabled psychic scripting. wink

And I'm seeing the same thing.

actually, it USED to e just about crops. its been extended a month or so this year to save on electricity. hence we use daylight longer rather than electricity.

Would it make a difference? Just curious if daylight saving is more useful there.

It'll probably straighten itself out when California moves into DST.

Why not just have daylight saving all year 'round?

I can't help myself and I'm bored ... I'm kind of sidetracking too ... what's this thread about again? confused

I'm trying to post in my regional group (SGAU) and my posts are going into the thread before the posts I am replying to, and are time-stamped an hour early. (We have just moved our clocks forward.)

My computer's clock has self-adjusted, it's reading the correct time.

It's just daylight savings time weirdness, it happens twice each year. Everything should be back to normal by tomorrow sometime.

It's going nuts in the groups.

The post times I see on the Groups page is the right time, but when I enter the group, the list of post times against each thread is an hour back.

Most of the posts inside the thread are listed at the right time, except mine, so mine (listed as an hour earlier) go into the thread behind anyone else who (at the correct time) come "after" mine.

Well without it would start getting dark about 4:30-5:00 in the afternoon. in the middle of Rush hour and if you kept it during the summer it would stay light untill 11pm.

Because of the way our bodies work it can actually cause Car accidents, and not be so safe for childern, not to mention increase power usage.

Keeping it all year round isn't a bad idea.. but I'm sure someone smarter then I has a good reason for it.. most likely involving farming.

Er.

Isn't that what happens already? Maybe it should be reversed so it stays light later in the winter so it isn't so goddamn depressing.
