Okay, so you just realized that you typed BART, instead of BORT, and you really want the BORT liscence plate... but then just because you're
a. drunk
b. type quicker than you think
c. think quicker than you talk
d. have a mechanical claw that shoots lazers instead of a hand...
you typed BART.
...so instead of: Edited to correct BART to BORT, you'd have 10 seconds or so to edit before everyone knows you can't complete a sentence, proofread it, send it off to editing, correct and fact check and then do proofs.
You wouldn't be able to re-do your whole bullshit story, and if you typed "thee-way calling" in the topic, instead of "three-way", ahhahah who would do that.. heh heh...ack cough... tuff luck, but maybe a grace period for common shit, I should have not put that appostrophe after it's because I meant a possessive its.
at one point I wished that the [Edited on Jan 20, 2005 by dspsg] showed the time, so you could tell if it was a proofing edit, or a context edit. Then I learned to stop worrying and love the edit
[Edited to add]
WTF? I just now noticed some of the [Edited on..] do have the time.
