I wanted your advice for a tricky problem. I have discovered, by a convoluted chain of events, which led me to read my man's email (something I never usually do), that he is having a more-than-friendship with some american floozie.

He is planning a trip to the states, and I think he might go and meet up with THE FLOOZIE. One of my friends has caught herpes off of some bloke she had a one night stand with. My question is this: should I attempt to catch my friend's herpes, pass them on to my boyfriend, hope the VD will put off THE FLOOZIE for ever and then dump him when he comes back?

Or is there a better STD I could give him? Or a better way of dealing with this whole sorry situation?

I don't know if it's the same in the USA but here, there are campaigns and whatnot promoting safe sex so people DON'T GET DISEASES, and here you are, WILLINGLY setting yourself up for infection, just so you can pass it on to more people?

first and foremost, it sounds like you need to go to a guidance councellor of some sort and read EVERY pamphlet they have related to sexually transmitted disease. if you are seriously considering contracting a disease with no cure (and one that increases YOUR chances of contracting HIV) so that you can pass it onto someone you're mad at, i'm tempted to say that you probably should not be having sex, since you are far too immature to deal with the responsability.

contracting herpes and having to deal with it for the rest of your life will only remind you of your cheating bastard of a boyfriend every time you have a painful, unattractive herpes outbreak.

I am sorry to hear that you feel you have to self destruct in order to stick one to him. Honestly, if you are handling most other situations in the same manner as this one, I can understand why he would be looking to meet someone else.

I hope that doesn't sound mean, but honestly, I think that purposely infecting yourself and knowingly passing it on to your partner is a sign that there are worse things to consider than a (potentially) cheating boyfriend.
I would recommend getting some counselling, and maybe discussing some forms of catharsis that are socially acceptable, and not a danger to either yourself or anyone else.
