The Girls illustrated off the shoulder also comes in XL, but it's out in medium and large. In any case, a lot of the stock in the store is pretty old. I don't know, but I think more stuff came in XL at one point or another and is probably out at this point. But I don't actually know about any of that since I don't handle merch. My point is just that stuff comes in different sizes now, that the days of stuff being one-size-only are gone, and that there being XL stuff in there now means that it stands to reason that there will likely be more stuff in XL in the future, as new merch is rolled out, as long as people buy the XL stuff that they put up.

Like I said, I don't know about the merch beyond what I can see in the shop right now, but I just mean the issue isn't the same anymore. The problem now is that items in shop are running out of stock in certain sizes, not that certain sizes aren't being offered at all.

gotcha. i just want those that DO handle the merch to know that there are hot sexy chicks that want to wear their stuff that unfortunately can't because they aren't a size 10. even the "XL"'s have a 14 inch bust span which is like.... a 36C at best.

i know it seems like a silly point that nobody cares about, but I've been really excited about the site and would love to help promote it - and it makes me feel fat and ridiculous that i can't fit into the largest damn size you guys carry. i know there are SG's themselves that can't get into them either. =/

my heart just sinks when i see that hot new grim tee for girls and can't get it.

*waves credit card* i have money to give you, SG! make clothes that fit regular ole girls, too!!!!

I care, too! I will never be able to fit my girls into anything that's currently being sold on the girls side.. My bust is 43 inches around... that's a lot of stretching!

you must have a smaaaaaaaaaaaaall frame.

if not, guess i'm just a huge ball of lard, cause those measurements wouldn't fit me on a really skinny day. =/

do you get a large in the tees?

I don't think anyone who knows me would describe me as having a small frame. I'm a pretty sturdy curvy girl who usually needs an XL tshirt.

The new "grim logo" shirt fits me just fine and is really flattering -- it's longer than most of the other shirts (as is the current tank top, which also fits me well) have been and fits really nicely. It's very soft and stretchy too.

I still never saw an answer from the Grim girl's tee thread- is the XS actually an XL- since it's listed below L? Some of us thought it was a typo.

And for the girls concerned with the measurements- remember- this is stretchy fabric.

I need a 5X. These little shirts just can't handle the girth. smile

yeah, i dunno this either. i ordered the shirt in a "L" and it fits - but just barely. i'm a 36D and have a fairly large ribcage. i'd definitely opt for an XL if it was ever an option.

the girl's medium is considered "one size fits all" by american apparel. if anyone has had trouble fitting the one size, please let us know.

That's interesting... a company expects all women to be the same size? How ridiculous. I'd guess that all of their CEO and people in positions of power are men who don't assist ladies in their fashion.

I've found that most American Apparel items run a bit small (and unless you're a fit model, there are few clothing lines that make just the right size), but the SG clothing line is no longer manufactured by them, so you've got nothing to worry about here.

I have almost every item in the SG shop, and I find it all to be very true to fit. It is also all pre-washed, so none of it has shrunk on me.

If any other girlies are interested in how the grim tee fits, I have a 36D chest and a fairly large ribcage. i'm a meaty chick, and I ordered the size (L). This is how it fits:

It is a tight fit, but really stretchy and comfy. I haven't washed it yet, but if miss fractal is right, it hopefully won't shrink.

Still...an XL would be nice. I'd order it instead to have a little extra bending room. And I know there are some chicks that are a little bigger than me that would love to wear the merch, too.

XXL isn't big enough?

I haven't worn anything smaller than a 5x in a long time now.

Yes, I know. I'm a big boy.
