People being snarky

I don't know what's gotten into people lately but the boards seem to have become a much bitchier place recently. Is the heat of summer getting to some people? Maybe everyone should take a break and calm down? I know n00bs can be annoying (and even some of the older members) but remember that you were once a n00b and made mistakes too.

I've noticed the same thing too, and I definetely agree. We should all just sit back and relax for a little bit.

that's because i've gone back to my life's work of killing threads.

It's been quiet in general but every thread a read (or near enough) seems to have some kind of snarky comment, bad enough that someone else will comment saying it's snarky!

I'd forgotten about that thread being quite similar after it turned into a thread about general n00b bashing. A lot of the comments I've seen that I don't like have actually been aimed at older members.

I think it has been peaceful. I think some people say 'snarky' sounding stuff just to have something to talk about.... No one is having a nice convo with them so they might as well start an arguement but hey what do I know... hehe

I like to play rough. Fuck being nice all the time. And I'm really quite serious, because personally I've found it's much easier to be a bit of an ass to someone, and the ones that reply in comedy are the good ones, and the one's who feel personally attacked are not ready to deal. Some of my favorite people on this site are the ones who've been assholes to me at first. There is a weird mutual respect there if you get past it, because you understand that it's not personal, it is rather for comedy, and to have a good time.

But then again, I'm a member of SGTC...so...

HERE's an example of what I'm talking about.
