Hey, I was wondering how you edit journal entries that are not on your list anymore? Like the latest 12 or so are up there, but any later ones aren't availalbe.

Is it possible?

Thanks smile Sorry for such a simpleton question

Bumped because it was the only thread that came up when I began wondering the same thing and searched for "journal" and "edit" on the "The Site" board.

Why would such a feature be desirable? Let's say your entries were public, and now you've decided some or all of them should be for SG members' eyes only, or perhaps you said something a while back that you wish you hadn't.

you can do it if you're sneaky about it.

find the old journal entry that you want to edit, and look at its url. it will look something like this:

http://suicidegirls.com/members/s5/987654321/

then, copy the id number in the url, and add it to the url to edit a journal entry:

http://suicidegirls.com/preferences/edit987654321/

(notice that there's no / between "edit" and the id number.)

Thank you thank you thank you for the little "edit" button underneath the journal entries. Has that been there long? I just noticed it. It's saving so many clicks. smile

if you scroll down to the bottom of your journal, you can use that white square with the < on it and find the old entries. or just change the url page number. then click add comment for the entry. you can edit entry.
