Just a quick question about something. Suppose I leave a comment in someone's journal. This person replies to what I say, but their comment appears in *my* journal. How does this happen? What's the best way for writting back to someone so that they can be sure to see it?

Usually if someone leaves a comment in your journal, it's best to reply in their journal. They're more likely to see it that way.

or you can really confuse the fuck out of them and post a reply in someone else entirely's journal...then leave little clues around the site for them on where to go to find their response.

A few days ago, I was inspired by a passing reference by WhiskeyFightPit to Eddie Money that I went around 10 or 12 Journals and stuck in references to Eddie Money completely out of the blue. The less sense they made, the better.

Nobody noticed. But I was pissing myself with laughter, so I'm good.

Hey, you spend your entire life with yourself; gotta amuse yourself some time.

Someone attempted something like this. Instead of posting a journal entry, she tried to post each word of her entry in a different, random place. Different threads on the boards, people's journals, etc. Everyone's response was "Interesting idea, but I got sick of searching for all the words."
