I wish the whole "friends list" thing was easier to manage. We should have an easier time moving our top friends around, and be able to move just one person instead of removing the whole list and then hoping they show up to re-add. It took me way too long just now to replace one person in y list.

I would like to see the groups I am in all in one page, like it used to be several years ago, it was easier to navigate that way when you are in many groups.
Also, I agree with comment privacy, it would be awesome if I could hide my comments from everyone, just not people who aren't in my friend's list.
I'm realllllllly hoping for a mobile version of the site, or an iPhone app that easily lets you check your messages/journal comments..... Trying to navigate this site on a phone is endlessly frustrating. This makes me sad.

100 times in agreement. Sure I can get on here on mine but eh small screens seem to not enjoy it at times. ugh. But I have faith it can be done with ease by the great geek minds of SG

It is hard to remember all the birthdays, I remember a time on SG when you could push a button and it would tell you who was having the next birthday and when it was.
BRING IT BACK!!!
(This thread is full of ignore. But I like to dream anyway.)
I would love if something could be done about the ridiculously long quote trees that end up breaking threads. I also have no suggestions about how to fix that and completely understand if no one on the staff wants to bother.

i wish we had the option to make photo albums completely private, even from our friends.
What would be the point of that? Why host pictures that no one can see?
like if i could make my attachment folders private. maybe the photos i'm attaching are going in private groups, and i dont want everyone to see. and by everyone i mean even some of my friends.
that way they aren't photos no one can see, but photos only certain people see. i understand i already have the option to upload the photo into a group, and then link the photo from there, but what if i choose to leave that group later, and then can't get back into it or something lame or complicated... i'm just sayin. and that takes a lot of time consumption, it's just easier to upload a photo straight into a reply box.

threaded comments, especially in blogs so people can easily have a conversation. that would be great.
I am sorry that there is no way I can say this without sounding like a jerk, but threaded comments. You mean like the messaging system here?
no.
just a way for the comments to stay in the same place. Say you write a blog, someone replies, their reply is hidden but visible at one click, then you reply and so on. the same for every different member who replies to your blog.
maybe i am the only one who finds that easier/better. no worries.

Why not just get an account at a photo hosting site? That way if you ever want to remove content (even if you no longer have access to the group) you can. Much easier to control your privacy that way.
After a picture is uploaded in the attachement folder, you can delete it from the folder, but it is still in the post. Or like FreakPirate said, that´s the best way to keep control.

that's not true. i've deleted attachment folders in the past, and had the photos i've posted disappear with the deletion from boards/groups.
Yes, if you delete the whole attachment folder, all pictures are lost. What i am talking about and often do, is to delete certain pictures from the att. folder.

I believe they will disappear after some time. Your computer cache is what is allowing you to still view them. But I could be wrong. It would seem stupid for SG to host the pictures in several spots (as would be needed) to keep them viewable after you delete them.
