I've been reading playboy boards lately and it's almost brought me to tears, the way they've been talking about you guys. It's depressing that they can't appreciate you all like we do.

i'm with you kayla! i have gone over there off and on and every time i do, i'm a little saddened. but on the upside, i do realize that i have been judgemental of people in much they way that they have been judgemental of SGs over there. i have frowned up women with a "playboy" look. i assume they don't think and only ever use their looks to get by in life. i have changed my views on that (ones i didn't even realize i had, they were so ingrained). i think a lot of us are guilty of what i've just admitted to. so my new motto is "judge not lest ye be judged."

i, orali suicide, would like to jump on the bandwagon while we're still on the first page and people are reading instead of skimming. i love the staff and the girls so so so much. and admire them all of dealing with criticism regularly.

i honestly wish i could do a world tour to meet everyone involved with the site and give them a kiss on the cheek.

The people that post on the playboy board are a diffrent bread of people. Not as open minded, and not NEARLY as much about the community. All they care is that they get there store bought idea of beauty. Not thats they dont have the right, its just harsh

I highely doubt that they know who the programmer and the photographer and all those people are on the playboy site. This is a community that is a website.

i am so happy SG exists. i'm wary of being hypocritical in judging playboy members-- in some ways they're not so different from us, we just want different things. not saying the nasty, misogynistic comments some members make about SG don't piss me off. oh man, do they ever. but that's not everyone on playboy. some of us judge their models similarly. it's about personal taste.

that said, i love everything about SG. the awesome community, the girls' involvement with the site as people rather than decorations, the range of different kinds of beauty encompassed. before, the girls taking their clothes off in magazines and online were never the type of girl i wanted to see. now gorgeousness abounds. thank you!

I stopped reading those boards after the first week, the comments made me so sad. But let's remember that on those boards, it's the same three posting the same damn complaint every fucking fucking week. The people who say those nasty, sexist, horrid things about our girls are not representative of the population of people who read/subscribe to Playboy. Just like the asshats who come on here and ask SG models to "spread the legs" don't represent the average member of SG.
