I'm a male in the adult entertainment business. I happen to be able to have and maintain an erection just fine during my sexual adventures. However, I keep hearing wonderful, wonderful things about Viagra in the business and how it's the super drug for sex. So I gave it a try (twice), and it didn't work wonders. I mean, I did get an erection, but that's not out of the ordinary. It just wasn't any different than normal. Also, I gave some to my partners as well (both female), and they said they either felt nothing or got warm.
So why doesn't Viagra work like a miracle pill for me?
Viagra was really meant for people with Erectile Dysfunction or other types of medial/sexual problems. They are of course trying to market it as a super-sex drug to sell to a younger and wider audience, but that doesn't mean it will be effective for all or even most men who don't have erectile problems. Your body is different from the bodies of the men the pill was designed for, so that may be why it's not doing anything amazing for you.
Any sort of medication will have a different effect on every person. I have heard a number of men and women report of the lack of response to viagra. Perhaps because it is geared toward those with erecitle disfunction that it is not having awe inspiring success for those who do not suffer from the same.
First thing first viagra may be taken off the market soon because it causes colon cancer in black males. There are also a few herbal products that can give men without any problems more stamina such as Vennex, MaxRX or StaminaRx. Also dont ever again give it to any of your lady friends sometimes viagra can cause sever headaches and abdominal cramping for women.

As Morgan accurately pointed out, sildenafil was designed for people with erectile dysfunction. Ever since the first studies were made, Pfizer's studies stated that should a person that's not trying to conquer this terrible affliction (/markrenton) pop them pills they wouldn't notice any drastic improvement, however they might face side effects.
This of course is the brief description of what the studies and medical journals I got somewhere in the chaos that is my room say and which I can't be bothered to dig up right now. The point is, if you're thinking "If this shit can help a flaccid man, it should make me some sort of ultra powerful sexbot" you're going to be disappointed and a few bucks poorer.
Here's a useful article, in case anyone's still interested in the subject.
