something that wasnt mentioned though that i think is a huge factor is creativity and originality of the set that was shot, I mean to be brutally honest bedroom sets seem to be the most overdone theme so when a hopeful does an original set like
Amarena's street corner girl
or
something like JessyJames red white and crue
I feel in my very unprofessional opinion that this is a definitive factor that separates hopefuls who have the most chance of turning pink from the rest of the hopeful herd.

Those are overdone because that's what staff buys. They don't buy creative sets.

Saying a hopeful's set has the same number of frames as sets on the front page is like saying I have the same number of toes as Buzz Aldrin so I should be able to walk on the moon.

So the staff doesnt like when their photographers or models are original and creative? Ya i dont buy that for a second.
Ok, new guy. Look at what gets bought and look at what sits in MR. Unless you're a well established SG, your creative sets don't get bought.
Alright I get it now, the bedroom sets are the constant factor in determining the individual style of each model in their initial sets which is why creativity isnt a factor in their first set.

Just for the record, the "rule" (which is actually just a guideline in the hopefuls FAQ) is that a girl's first set should show her the way she is naturally/normally, without an elaborate theme or a ton of makeup. There is no hard and fast rule that an SG's first set has to be a bedroom set or boring in any way. In fact, if a set is boring to most people who look at it, it probably won't get bought.

oh my bad, I got a little confused and thought that the only sets that get bought were the bedroom ones and i just like how some of the models go outside the bedroom for a more natural look/feel like Asio in her latest set where it looks like she lays a rug/blanket in front of a huge window in what i think is her living room while she plays zelda and gets
while using primarily the natural lighting plus the b-roll she gets from NOT being in her bedroom as you can see in the top 2 frames. Plus who says it has to be elaborate, like doing a set with a classic car as the backdrop, its only a small move to the garage, plus a gorgeous beautiful girl on top of a beautifully gorgeous piece of machinery, well thats a beautiful thing.
