Am I deluded, or was there a split-second Nana cameo on the second-to-last Dexter this season?

If I'm right, I can boast of my eagle-eye nerd-vision for the rest of my life.

Yeah I saw that, and scared the crap out of hubby by yelling "Hey that's Nana!" in the middle of the episode.

Can they use her photos without her permission?
Or if they're SG photos, did they give permission?

They wouldn't be "her" photos anymore if SG had previously puchased them.

I would assume they would have to get SGs permission

Yeah, it's just set dressing. They wouldn't need permission for that any more than they'd need permission to have a shot of a character reading the New York Times.

The Dexter people called us and asked us for some SG images to use and we sent them the magazine and book and said they could use whatever they want. We love Showtime and their shows, you might be seeing a whole lot more SGs on showtime in mid 2010, so cross your fingers everything works out.

It's kinda ironic that out of all that material they chose Nana.

If its not news or a documentary they would have to clear both the ny times and our magazine before they could show it. Its a silly law but its true.

I think they picked her because she looks so young - the photo was on the wall of a character who killed women and it helped to make him seem extra creepy.

Interesting! That makes so much more work that must go into set/ prop design.

If there's ever an sg needed for a dexter cameo, sign me up! I'd make a pretty kickass corpse! tongue
