Image Questions go here!

so what do i need to do? can you help???

i dont know how to resize it to do that. can you of you help?

Go into Photoshop and do File ---> Save for Web ---> whatever JPG setting will get it under 100K

okay, i uploaded the pic into my pics. now how do i go about posting the image into journals / groups?

Go to the picture. Right-click on it and go to Properties.

Where it says "Address" and a URL, highlight the URL and hit Ctrl-C to copy it.

Now, go into your journal or a board or whatever and click on Image. Paste (Ctrl-V) that URL into the box. Voila!

My pic uploading box is gone, and I have pics to upload. Has it moved?

My Pics is bigger and better, and SG will now resize profile pics automatically!

It actually wasn't that bad. I only got about three or four pictures to resize every few days, but yeah... what a load off.

thanks to clara & sorcha for yr help last nite in helping me post an image in journals / groups. it worked, so i wanted to thank you ladies for yr input / help. you both rock!!!

There seems to be a bug with the new pic and folders. If I upload new pictures, the img tag points to a dead link, so no picture comes up. Same happens if I move one picture to another folder.

Any ideas?

once i get pictures into my folders, how do i edit the captions? do i have to delete the picture and re-upload it to put in a new caption? i can't find the edit tag that used to be there.

Why does it tell me my pic must be under 250kb, when I try to post a 160kb pic?

i don't know why it says 250kb, because the limit on images is 100kb. so save your image to below 100, and it should post no problem.
