Hello. As you can see I'm new here. I just made my profile but, for some reason, when I hit the "browse" button to upload a picture the little window doesn't pop up. Why is that?

If you want it as your PROFILE picture, just go to Edit Preferences and look under where your profile picture should be. Click on "Browse", select the picture from your computer that you want to use (the resized picture), double-click on it to select it, and then hit "submit". If it works, it will bring you back to your preferences page. Just hit shift + refresh to see it (that will clear your cache and make it visible).

i think i heard that it might be a common bug with the favorite pics feature that's being worked out right now. there's variations on the problem but i'm sure that they're aware of it and it'll work itself out soon enough.

and i'm going to test something in here; like Vicky i figured it out in my journal but i'm not sure if it works the same on the boards as well. oh well here goes

I've been trying to upload pictures using the add photoset In the SGCT, and I keep getting an error saying " Photoset error" the images are very small (profile pics dimensions)

Any insight would be greatly appreaciated.

no image button?

ok so if i go to add a comment to the boards there is a "image" button but if i'm in groups or updating my jurnal there is no button. and when i try to insert [/IMG]
at the front and back that doesnt seem to work either???

It should be [ img]address.jpg[ /img] without the spaces. The first tag DOES NOT have the forward slash.

Your problem now is that you've copied the URL for the window in which the image opens rather than the URL of the actual image.

Please help me. I'm having such problems.. First I can't get my Profile picture up on the site. When I go to crop it in Adobe Photo Deluxe it wont let me do 235x175 with a 100kb.. it keeps putting it at 120kb. Then when I write on the boards to ask for help I come on the next day and can't find my fucking post. Please somebody help me. I am totally retarded when it comes to this shit!!!
I would REALLY apprciate some help. thanks

I keep trying to upload my new profile pic.. it's the right dimensions, right filesize etc and when i click change pic it works as if it's been sucessful.. but my old pic is still there. I've deleted my temporary internet files and cleared my cache and everything, but that old pic is still there and it's making me want to stab things.
