How do I remove friend request?

Is there a button or function to remove friend request?

Yes. Go to settings. There is an option to hit auto decline.

Is that to refuse all request? I don't want to do that, just individuals that I friend requested but are no longer active on the site.

If you are looking to decline all Friend Requests - use settings

If you want to decline specific Friend Requests - decline the specific request

If you wish to end a one or more specific friendships - either go to the soon to be ex-friends page and select end friendship or use the fourth method below.

If you want to clean up your friends list of ex-members - go to the list, edit, and delete them

A final and common method is to become and ass or a troll

Edit to add - if your question has not been answered now I give-up and do not understand what you want. (This could also mean that you are my wife )

From what I get, it's actually to un-request someone's friendship... like say you're waiting for someone to accept your request but you change your mind... I believe you can still go to the person's page and select end friendship... at least that's how I understood it
