Yeah, but most of those myspace kids are really stupid. Stupid mainstream kids don't really need to know about SG. Sure, they'll get more money maybe, but so what? It's big enough already without trying to push it into some super phenomenon.

That is a pretty blanketing, and incorrect, statement when you consider how many people are on myspace.
Don't fight it. You want to sign up. It is ok.

Sure there are alot of teens on myspace, but that doesnt mean they're the only ones. Even if the 18+ crowd isnt the majority, the ads on myspace wouldnt be worth poop unless there were a large number of credit card holding adults using the site.
Still, it's not all that much different from those strip club billboards on the side of the freeway.
Maybe I'm the only one, but I think SG is cool enough as it is, and doesn't have to start hitting up the myspace crowd for more members. Sure, there may be more money coming in, but most great things lose a part of themselves when they become as well-known as I suspect SG will be by 2008 or so.
Edited to say that I know that I'm not running the show here, so nobody has to tell me that. It's just my opinion is all...
